We also got some fun things from a friend, that their family has outgrown. The girls are taking turns wearing this cute headband.
When Makayla saw all the beads from our friend she said,"This is a dream come true!" She has already made several necklaces, and received compliments on one she made and wore to school yesterday. (As well as a compliment from a boy in her class, "I like you in white. You look very pretty in white." To which she responded, "I think so too." :) No problem with lack of confidence, eh?)
Jared makes me laugh. His eyes lit up when he saw this motorcycle. "Is this for ME?" Followed by, "I've waited my whole life for this motorcycle!" :)
While we were driving to the gym yesterday he says, "That's a slippy roof. Santa can't go to that house, he will fall off the roof."
"Maybe Santa wears special shoes that help him stick to the roof. That would be sad if they were good all year, and Santa couldn't go to their house, because he'd fall off their roof."
"I'll have to ask Santa about that next time."
Yep, life is definitely good!

What cute kids! Don't you love how excited they get over little things. We are playing with the same little motorcycle at our house and loving it too. I love to hear the little motorcycle sounds Jordan makes when he's playing. Grandma and Grandpa sure are the best, huh?!
What cuties! It's so great that you document their cute sayings. They'll love reading them when they're older, too!
