California Science Center
Wednesday we headed over to the CA Science Center. In our rush to get there, we hadn't packed a lunch, and after a few hours Jared began melting down. Jason was sad that we didn't get to see as much as he had hoped, so we decided to come back Thursday. The timing worked out well. We dashed out to the van during a minute pause in the torrential downpour! It was fun to see their curiosity at play, and to gain new insights about many cool things. Science really can be fun! My Dad and I were wishing we had some of those bikes that are hooked up to the light bulbs in our homes, so that on rainy days, we could strap the kids in, and harness that energy to create electricity! We even thought it would be awesome to have the stationary bikes at the gym rigged that way too! Schools could have them for P.E., and indoor recess, or perhaps instead of a time out room have the kids do time on the bike to create electricity! Muwahaha! :) Think of all of the coal we could save, while creating healthier Americans! :)

I like that idea too! Wonder why no one has thought of it?!!
I love that idea. Really would be nice if they would sell some bikes and some way to store it for later too :)
