We've said so many goodbyes and hellos these past few weeks!
Makayla had fun saying her last goodbyes to her sixth grade year.
She really enjoyed her Outdoor Ed class for the day.
We were very pleased that she was inducted into North Middle School's chapter of the National Junior Honor Society.
She had mutual aftwerward, and a friend of ours took Makayla out for a quick bite to eat with her daughters before driving them to mutual.
We didn't make it to their awards ceremony that took place the last day of school, but Miss Makayla received 6 certificates, for Outstanding Acheivement in various subjects, and an attendance award.
It's a good thing I still have a little over two months to get used to the idea that I'll be saying hello to her 7th grade year! I'm still a little bit in denial right now!
Malia's enjoyed saying hello to friends her own age, one who lives two doors down!
Jared said goodbye to training wheels.
He also said goodbye to his baseball season. Last night was his last game, and a get together afterward at the park.
When Jason finished this Family Home Evening chart for a new family in our ward, (the missionaries saw Jason's handiwork on the treasure chest, and G&G's chart, and asked if Jason would make a FHE chart for a recently reactivated husband and his newly baptized wife, and their children, some who were old enough to be baptized), our boys thought we were saying goodbye to the chart G&G gave us. We reassured them, we were keeping our chart.
Didn't he do a great job?
I'm so glad that Derek has said goodbye to diapers during the day! I recently was forwarded this picture of his Sunbeam class.
If I'm still teaching the CTR 4 class in January, I'll be saying hello to a pretty large class (I think some kiddos were absent that Sunday)!
I can't believe it's almost been a week since we said hello to summer break! It's already flying by!
What a lot of milestones!! Exciting times at your house! I love the picture of Derek and his sunbeam class- looks like fun! And Makayla in mutual and national honor society!!! Wow! Time flies! They are all such good-looking and smart kids- congrats to them all and their great parents!
