Shel and Tony were sweet and took the kids to Chuck E. Cheese so Jason and I could enjoy a session at the temple with my Dad.
Jason surprised me with an ice cream cake. The kids wanted to get us an anniversary present. Since it took me forever to finally decide on a gift for my sweetie myself, we kept it very simple. They made us candy leis...perfectly knowing we would share :)!Can you believe it?! Jason and I have shared 10 years of married life!! What a rollercoaster ride! With more highs than lows...(at least for me ;)). I LOVE being married to Jason. He's so patient with me, and my experimentations.
My hair was one of them. I decided to try bangs (before I read Katie's wise counsel about really weighing the pros and cons). Naturally, I didn't think it through, how hard could cutting bangs be? Ha,ha. Well I got my bangs and ended up looking like a 12 year old, with bangs a little too short. After suffering with trying to pretend they didn't exist I broke down and went to a friend's stylist for some professional help in damage control! :) At first I was skeptical, but I'm really liking it now.
Having Jason in my life keeps me feeling like the luckiest girl in the universe! Here's to us and Biology 130! It's been really exciting preparing to teach a lesson tomorrow on temple sealings so close to such a special milestone...I hope those young men can stand a watery eyed Sunday School teacher!

Congratulations!! The cake looks scrumptious and the candy leis I noticed have only the best candy bars in them!! Deluxe! I went to a bridal shower yesterday and I must confess I came out and thought "Wow - I am so glad that I am through with weddings!" It's tons of fun having all of you in the family - it was just a bit stressful making it all happen!:) Love your new do Suzy!
