Idaho Falls

Thursday (September 3rd) we spent an afternoon and evening of fun in Idaho Falls. (Hard to believe this was a week ago!) We saw Shorts. It was definitely a fun show for the kids! They laughed a lot! Then we headed to Jamba Juice, and a little park across the river from the temple where we enjoyed spending time with Nanny (Grandma Jex). It was so nice to have races on the paths, and with sticks in the river, and just enjoy each other's company. We ended the evening with dinner provided by an office supply company, along with a lot of other fun treats like snow cones, free pens, followed by a baseball game. The Idaho Fall Chuckers took on the Casper Ghosts. I've actually been to Casper, Wyoming! It was a good game, but the kids proved too restless, and we headed home about the 5th or 6th inning. Thanks for such a fun day Mom and Dad Hatt!! Yesterday at lunch we were in the kitchen. Jared saw the cross stitch of the L.A. temple, and said, with a huge smile and a lot of excitement..."We had lunch there with Grandma and Grandpa!"...I think he was remembering this fun afternoon...

This is the slideshow Jared requested we use to share our pictures. He likes to watch the butterfly. He also picked the music from the choices they offered.

That temple is definitely a special place for our family! Doesn't matter what temple you go to, they are all beautiful! Glad you had fun. Looks like you all were kept VERY busy with LOTS of FUN!!! I am sure Nanny loved to see all the kids. I bet she could hardly believe how grown up they all were!
