The Hatts go marching one by one, hurrah, hurrah!
I've got that song in my head for some reason, of course with a twist! Gotta smile! The Hatts go marching off to school, hurrah, hurrah,... the little one stops to tie his shoe... :) I agree with Sister Hinckley, much better to laugh your way through life! Looking at Derek, it blows my mind. Was it really 8 years ago, that I was watching the squirrels in the trees with Makayla, taking her for walks; just the two of us?...Was it really 6 years ago that Malia always had a pacifier in her mouth while Makayla interpreted her wants? Was it really 2 1/2 years ago that Jared's favorite toy was the stick that we put in the sliding glass door at night? Wow!

I couldn't believe how grown up they all seemed when we saw you guys. I think all the time about that summer when I took naps every afternoon with tiny baby Makayla snuggled on my chest. Where has the time gone?!
Seriously, they don't stay little for long. Just have to try to enjoy every minute.
You thinks it's flown by? How do you think we feel? We only see them occasionally and it is always such a big change in them between visits! :(
Have I told you all how much we appreciate you busy moms making time for the blogs? They are the greatest thing for us!! Thank you!! Makayla has some crazy mad Lego skills!! Looks like Derek is developing some awesome Wii skills! Do you guys hate us for that yet? :) I'll always remember one afternoon when I came to get Makayla right after Malia was born, all she wanted to do was stomp in the puddles all along the gutters! We never even made it to Grandma's house to play. It was pretty dang cute!! Where does the time go!
Such cute kids! You are so right about the time SPEEDING by! There were times when it sure didn't feel that way. It's wonderful that you remember those simple, priceless moments. We are all so excited to see you this summer before you all grow up too much!
