How cute is that?

Part of Malia's homework was to tell about her Easter. I think Jason gave her the idea for the last phrase :) !

In truth, after I reread the post about Monday, it is funny now. Plus, getting to Makayla's Wednesday practice was infinitely smoother! :)

Makayla even made dinner all on her own last night! She was so proud of herself. I really appreciated the help.

I just need to keep that eternal perspective, and remember I make and have made my share of mistakes as I grew up and continue to grow, it's just part of life. In fact that's why we're here isn't it, to learn from our own experiences how to make correct choices, and how to be who we should be, like our Heavenly Father and Savior.

As a mother of a similarly proud & stubborn child (We won't mention names) I DISCOVERED THAT SOMETIMES I HAD BACKED THEM INTO A CORNER WHERE EVEN IF THEY WANTED TO CHANGE COURSE AND DO WHAT WAS RIGHT, I HADN'T LEFT THEM A FACE SAVING WAY TO DO IT! Parenting is definitely a learning and growing experience for everyone!:) A sense of humor definitely helps though! Spend a day with somebody else's kids and it will make yours seem like total angels!! :) To grandma they are always angels!! That's the wonderful thing about being a grandma! XXOO

Trust me, we all have those days! Somedays I just feel like being a crazy lady, but that's not what my kids need! Your kids are absolutely adorable, and it's a good thing- right!!?? Hang in there, and remember you're not alone...we are all learning!
