"Before the Parade Passes By"
This Memorial Weekend we celebrated Makayla's 12th birthday! What a lucky Mom I am! She's pretty wonderful!
Saturday was the Parade, and a friend spent the night. Sunday was Makayla's last Sunday completely in Primary! Sunday she's going to Young Women's!
It was so nice for Jason to have Monday off! Even though we celebrated Makayla's birthday, we got lots of catch up work done around the house, and I even managed to hang a collage I'd been working on for awhile. Do you like it?
As we were walking to the parade from parking the car in the elementary school parking lot, I had this song pop into my head from the musical, "Hello, Dolly!" My Mom watched it a lot when I was growing up. I'm a Barbara Streisand fan. Even days later I catch myself humming it! I think, the words and the message have really hit me these past few days! So, just for fun, hope you enjoy it!

Love the collage! Love Malia's new purple glasses! Most of all LOVE that Birthday Girl! She's a keeper for sure!
Wow! A Young Women now! That's so exciting. She will love it! Things are in the works for another EFY in Japan again next year! Too bad we will be moving! I couldn't listen to the music video. Apparently I am out of the region! Haha! Cute kids! Love them all!
Happy very belated b'day to Makayla!! We thought of you on your b'day and remembered how it didn't seem that long ago that we were there at your baby blessing. You have grown into a beautiful and talented YW!! Great job on the collage, Suzy!!
