Derek's 4!

Yesterday was Derek's birthday! It was a fun day.

The "cake"...that was mostly ice cream....Makayla helped with the penguins...I don't know why, even following a magazine's directions, I have such a hard time... :/ I'm just glad Derek was happy with it.

Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for the presents! He loves wearing, playing with, looking at and listening to them, and has been very good about sharing.

Derek was very excited that Jason got to be in Primary to hear them sing him Happy Birthday, while I hesitatntly subbed in Sunday School. Jason thought it was funny when, before they sang, the chorister asked if Derek was 25 now, and he nodded his head yes.

We sure love our Derek.

I hope the next four years while go by less quickly, but I won't hold my breath!
