Last night we got back from visiting my family in LA. It was really neat that my youngest brother, Jonathan, and his wife, Maria, visited at the same time from North Carolina. We hadn't seen them in almost 6 years!
It was neat to celebrate my birthday down there. Thank you for all of your well wishes! I felt very loved!
We were able to attend church with my parents, go aboard the USS Iowa, attend the Newport Beach temple and see the new film during our session, go to the beach, Knott's Berry Farm, have family pictures taken with my parents, siblings, in-laws, nieces and nephews, one of my grandmas (Tutu), go to a Pirate Advenutre dinner and show (similar to Midevil Times, only pirate theme), see Planes in 3D at the El Capitan theatre, see some sights in Hollywood, eat, swim and watch movies at Shel's condo, go to a Dodger game, and all of the other fun stuff like eating yummy food, talking, playing games and all of that jazz. Thanks Mom and Dad for thoroughly spoiling us!

Wow!! What a fun trip! So many fun things to do in California!! I'm glad you got to see your brother again after so long and celebrate your b'day with your family. Love you guys!
This seems to be the year for family reunions! Looks like the Cali one was full of fun! You know how jealous those beach pictures made me!
