We love "the bread store"

Yes, we love Kid Zone a.k.a. "the bread store". One day, Jared said he wanted to go to the bread store. We needed bread anyway so off we went. As we were driving there Jared started going in to melt down mode. This was not the way to the bread store! I told him it was, and he calmed down a little. When we got inside he got really mad. Where were the tubes, slides and ball pits? I finally understood where he really wanted to go and told him that we could go to Kid Zone very soon. I talked to my friend Chris, who I volunteer for, and is in charge of cleaning there, and she realized that in Getting Bigs, where Jared is old enough to play, there's play food, and the way it's set up inside, could look like a grocery store. Aha! Sometimes he calls KZ "the grocery store" also. I have to be careful when I have to take him grocery shopping with me. If I slip and say we're going to the grocery store, instead of Wal-mart, I hear about it. "This is not the grocery store", he tells me angrily, as we pull up in front of Wal-mart!! I guess I have to agree with him there, Wal-mart is definitely not Kid Zone!

Derek is enjoying Kid Zone too. The volunteers think he is so cute, and good natured! (They're absolutely right of course) :)

It makes me laugh that he actually knows the difference between the way to get to Kid Zone versus the way to get to the bread store! Very impressive. We all know he did not get that gene from his Grandma!! :)
