Finally, our turn with Grandma and Grandpa! We had to celebrate Makayla's birthday with them! Friday we ran errands, decorated the cake... :) making ready for the festivities! When we went to pick the girls up from school, Makayla's teacher smiled at G&G and said she's been hearing about this visit for weeks! :)
We made Makayla wait almost an entire week before she could ride her new bike! We took it for its first ride after cake and ice cream. She did very well waiting! :) Saturday we headed out to Wildlife Safari, and fortunately for us we have a JJ North's, huh Grandpa? :)! Yesterday we went to church, and went to see the "Doors of Oregon" display in downtown Grants Pass. The artists did some amazing work! It has really been a fun weekend so far...Thanks for EVERYTHING, G&G! P.S. We wish you guys could be here with us! These past few nights we've enjoyed hearing about their recent trips, the fun personalities and mannerisms, and we wish we could all be together!

We wish we could have been there too. But actually, I wish you all could have been with us at Sunriver... that would have been perfect! We're still determined to do Sunriver together sometime. :)
What fun! It sure is fun when Grandma & Grandpa come! I love that great shots you got of the kids! It is quite apparent that they are having a blast, too!
It's always a great time when Grandma and Grandpapa come around!! The Safari looks awesome! Happy Birthday MAKAYLA! We love you. You're growing up into such a beautiful girl!
I wish Katie and Chris could have seen the Multonomah Falls door!! It was so totally cool and the picture just doesn't do it justice. It was kind of painted so it was in relief - 3 dimensional! It was amazing!! We are lucky!! We haven't missed too many of Makayla's birthdays!! Note to everyone : May is a good time for birthdays!!!!! ) She is so grown up and so absolutely gorgeous!!! Wow!! Daddy needs to practice his mean demeanor!!! Grandpa can give him lessons!! Hugs and Kisses to everyone - we love and miss you! Grandma is especially missing "Dancing, Prancing Lilly"!! :)
