Last night was Makayla's "official" birthday. The girls went for a balloon ride, and to school. It's been pretty hot for May. We got the fudgsicles to the kids just in time. They were melting, even in the small cooler we brought (of course I forgot to add ice to the cooler...)! Had fun at North Valley High School. Jared and Dad went on a father-son camp-out. Opened a few presents today too! Makayla is the marathon party girl! Today the girls had soccer games, at the same time!! Recently ALL 6 of our goldfish died of unknown causes...Jason is sending me off to get guppies!!! :) (I'm not ready to join the ranks of dog owners)... Last month we had a really fun ward activity. We thought we were going to have a luau, but our "flight" got rerouted in "mid-flilght", to Italy. It was fun getting into our aloha attire though, and enjoying fun company and a tasty spaghetti dinner served by our wonderful youth! A few days ago Jared began getting attached to his little white dog. It's been cute watching him pull "Chewy" around everywhere!
I think that about catches ya up!

Happy Birthday Beautiful Makayla!! Looks like you had a wonderful birthday. Kennedy was just saying the other day that she wanted to take a hot air balloon ride. She was SOOOO excited when I showed her that you had done that. We love you! You've grown up into such a sweet girl!
Makayla is definitely learning the art of stretching out a birthday! :) I love the pics of Jared pulling his own little doggy around. So cute!
Life is always busy, busy, busy at your house! Never dull! We miss you all. I love the cute doggie pictures of Jared too! Grandpa got his birthday present a few days ago so he is going to stretch his birthday out for a long while too. :) I don't know that he will get multiple cakes though! Way to work it Makayla!!
You have been busy! I'm sure life is never dull at your house. Happy birthday beautiful Makayla! We wish we could have been there to celebrate with you- sounds like you really know how to do it!
