Favorites

Seeing my kids' smiling faces (especially after I've picked out something for them, at a super inexpensive price, and they like it), and taking TONS of pictures of them, definitely some of my favorites!
The kids love Nana's discovery of toothbrushes with suction cups! (With Jared, the fact that it's a Spiderman- another favorite- is awesome!) Sticking them to things, a big recent favorite!
Well Grandma and Grandpa, you've done it again! Another favorite book. Derek has me read, "I Love You, a Bushel and a Peck" daily! After reading it and singing the song at least once, he has us insert names instead of the you. So it's, "I love Jared, a bushel and a peck". Naturally he has us insert Grandma and Grandpa, Nana and Papa, and other family members. He also points to the ducks and says, "This is Mela!", or "This is Grandpa", Papa, etc. It's pretty sweet.

Dragons are another favorite!
One of Makayla's favorites is the MP3 player Santa gave her for Christmas. She enjoys picking songs and things to watch, and having Jason download them onto her player. She is very sweet and lets Derek snuggle (in what I would guess is Makayla's favorite place in the house-her space- the top bunk of the bunk beds) and watch, "The Legend of the Boneknapper" on it with her.
Our trampoline is another of the kids' favorites. They miss jumping on it. That doesn't stop them from playing on the frame!

Building forts is another favorite. They like to use all kinds of materials. Jason worked hard in the yard on Saturday thinning out the lilacs, and a long list of other projects. The kids were happy that he provided them with fort building supplies!

During this time of year, wearing rainboots, come rain or shine, another favorite.

Two favorite phrases, "Mom, take a picture!" followed by, "I wanna see".

Recognize this scene? One of my favorite scripture accounts! Malia drew it one Sunday during Sacrament meeting. (Drawing is one of her favorite things to do, especially during Sacrament meeting, which one day, I hope will be one of their favorite times).

Grandma love, love, loves this post! So many cute pictures and stories of the Oregon kids that Grandma love, love, loves!! Very cute shirt but i love Malia's hair pulled back with the ribbon! So perfectly adorable! THE FORT IS AMAZING AND LOOKS LIKE IT WAS A LOT OF WORK TO MAKE - GOTTA LOVE IT. RAINBOOTS ARE AWESOME FOR SURE - I AGREE. A definite need for Oregon! :) The toothbrushes are very cool! Good work Nana!! Glad my book was a hit - I found them on the internet and knew we had to have them! After all it is one of "Grandma's songs"! Makayla is such a sweet big sister (when she isn't teasing - I for sure know where she got that from Daddy!!!) I love Malia's First Vision picture - so perfect!! Hugs and Kisses for all those cute cute kiddos and Mama and daddy too!!
