Jared is enjoying being a Lincoln Lion in Mrs. Thompson's MWF Kindergarten class! He also enjoys riding the bus with Malia to and from school!
Grandma sent packages of fruit snacks home with us. I forgot about a few packages that got left in the van, and by the time we got around to opening the last package, all the fruit snacks in it had melted into this rectangle!!
I can't believe it's getting to be that time, where I've got to start getting everyone's Halloween costumes figured out/ together. I picked some up last year after Halloween for my boys, and wanted to make sure they still fit. My girls aren't as easy to buy in advance for. Derek was more than happy to comply!!
I think it was shortly after Malia was born, my mother-in-law gave me some profound advice, something akin to, "Don't expect to get much done for awhile". Malia is 8 now, and I'm beginning to wonder how long awhile is... :) Then again, all I have to do is look at, or think of Makayla, now in middle school, to realize just how fleeting this time really is!! :/

I too am shocked that October is just around the corner!! We have had a warm wonderful Fall and I think that is part of it! I love to get peeks at the inside of your house - it looks so nice with MUCH more room for all of you! What a handsome Kindergartener Jared makes!! Derek looks like he feels pretty special in his fireman shirt and his knight costume!! Too cute! He is a lot of energy in a tiny package. :) Don't expect to get a lot done until you get him in school - all day!! :)
Halloween is sneaking up on us too! Time just flies by. I love the pictures of the boys too. So cute!
How exciting your little guy got Mrs Thompson for a teacher, Austin had her too and loved her.If you get a chance tell her Austin Gunderson SAYS hello..I don't know if she will remember him but I hope so.And on the other note, Looks like you are getting settled into your new house!! Lets see more pics of it, Are your neighbors Chris and Stephanie Bennett?
Ha! What great advice! I was finally feeling like I was getting some things done when we had Levi and started over again :-) Great job with the frugal costumes! Looks like they like them, too!
