There once was a lady bug named Lovebug.
She was a cute lady bug.
Her birthday was coming up.
She thought that her friends had forgotten about her birthday.
She went to her friend, Rabbit's.
When she looked inside, no one was there.
"That's strange," she thought.
"I wonder where he is?" she said.
Then, she went to Grasshopper's house.
When she knocked on the door, no one answered.
"I wonder where she is?" she thought as she walked home.
Meanwhile, back at Lovebug's house, Rabbit and Grasshopper were busy making Lovebug a lovely cake.
When they heard her coming, they quickly turned out the lights. Then they hid.
When she opened the door...
"SURPRISE!"
They popped out of hiding.
Lovebug was SO SURPRISED!
"I thought you had forgot it!" she said.
"You're a great bug, we'd never forget."
"Oh, I'm so lucky!"she said.

I love it! I think she should illustrate it and make a real book - I know her siblings would love reading it for sure.
