Last Wednesday was Makayla's soccer Pizza Party. She had a lot of fun! Along with the trophy and certificate all of the ladies received, Makayla received special recognition as, "The Most Versatile Player". She also received some shoe lace cover ups to help keep her cleats tied. It seemed that they were always untied as she was playing!
While we were there it was fun to visit with some of the parents. One of the young lady's Moms took pictures throughout the season. She offered to email them to any interested parents.
Naturally, I was, and through our correspondence she had this to say, "We were also blessed by Makayla’s hard work and dedication throughout the soccer season. She was a great example to Addie, and we are very thankful to have been able to spend time with her. I can only hope that Addie would be able to be on her team in another season (that is if Makayla doesn’t mind :))."
I thought that was very sweet of her! Our Makayla is a great example, and we are proud of her! I should tell her that more!

Makayla - You make Grandma and grandpa so proud of you! We are most proud of you not for being an awesome and versatile soccer player - which you are, but for being such a great friend and example to others! That is the most important thing of all cuz everybody needs a great friend like you!! We love you tons!!
