Making Progress

Derek really wanted to earn his shirt back. He wanted Grandma and Grandpa to see him in the shirt they got for him. He's not perfect at not chewing, but we're making progress. (Sadly, not much progress in keeping the boys motivated to keep their room picked up...)

While at KidZone, one of the volunteers commented that she loves his shirt. When she found out it glows in the dark she wanted to know where we got it from. I said I wasn't sure. It was a gift from Derek's grandparents. She asked what brand it was. :) I think our closest Gymboree is in the mall in Medford.

On the homefront we're making progress too! I've got more projects that I'm working on, and some furniture rearranging to do! :) More pictures to come!

Kudos to Jason!! He sat by himself with the kids during Stake Conference today. I got to sing with the choir, and had to sit on the stand the entire time! Not to mention, that we had to be at the stake center an hour early for warm up. Jason wanted us to go in one car, so he had the kids for an additional hour!! Isn't he just...the BEST?!!

We finally have callings where I can go to choir practice. I'm so excited!! The last time I sang in a choir was in my last singles ward as a university student! It was a little disheartening to have my family say that the camera operator did a close-up of me while we were singing... :/ Oh well, I guess you can't have it all...

Love the cute face modeling the cute shirt! I thought it fit his personality perfectly!! Too fun! I always laugh at the close ups they do of people singing in the Tabernacle Choir. :) Let's hope you weren't pulling faces during your moment in the spotlight! I'm sure the kiddos were amused to see mom on the big screen!! Way to go Suzy!!!
