Wednesday afternoon when Baylee and her Mom dropped off Makayla after she spent the night at Baylee's house, created a plan for Baylee to spend the night at our house! I'm learning the pros and cons of Makayla spending so much time with friends!
Jared learned he should listen to his sisters' advice. And I learned that our kids should only wear tennis shoes when riding their bikes! We all went for a bike ride/walk on Thursday morning. There's a little hill at the park we went to. Jared wanted to ride down it on his bike with training wheels. His sisters told him that was a bad idea. He ignored them and when I pulled up with Derek in the stroller, he had flown down the hill and wrecked terribly in the playground. It was quite an expensive injury! Part of his toe nail came off and when we came home to clean him up, I realized how bad it looked. Jason and I thought he might need stitches, so off we went to Immediate Care. Well, it wasn't nearly as bad as it looked! I felt so silly! Jason and everyone at immediate care told me not to feel badly, it looked like it was worse than it was, and it's better to be safe than sorry...But I still feel like an idiot! Oh well, live and learn, right?!
