Taken for granted

I showed this picture to you about a month ago. I'm so sad to admit, I take SO many things for granted!! I need to work on this! I hope that I can remember what a blessing it is to take a shower, and do laundry, and have a working toilet!!
(As well as to be more grateful for a multitude of other things; that I have a nice, affordable place to live, the freedom I enjoy because I live in this country, and because so many men, women, and their families sacrifice so much to rid the world of evil and those who promote it, the ability to vote, my family, that my husband is so good to me, and he has a job, my health...just to mention a few...!)

But I'm rambling, and the original intent was to show our process in getting back a bathroom/laundry room floor! (Which I'm now hopefully learning to not take for granted!)

After we got the new flooring in, we realized our blue walls didn't match as well as we thought they would. I still have lots of touch up work to do. Last night Jason asked if I'd updated pictures of the bathroom on the blog yet! So Jason, this post is for you!

Yup, I'm also realizing I take all of the hard work our kids' coaches put out for granted too. (I'm in so much trouble...I 've got to be more grateful). One of Jared's coaches put the boys' names on the back of their jersies.

And just as a side note, we had the walk through with our relator on Monday. The one thing she pointed out that needed work, was that she noticed some moss growing on our roof. (Which Jason sprayed off last night) The bedroom carpets she said not to worry about replacing. She also said not to worry about painting the exterior of the house, that we could work that in later, if our buyer is concerned about it. She liked the interior paint color (good job picking it, Jason :)). She also gave Jason high marks for being a packing Nazi, I mean, for his good job in decluttering the house! Love you, honey!! :) She had to run some numbers, and we're meeting with her tomorrow night. Fingers crossed that all goes well with a listing price!

The house looks great! You've all put a lot of love, sweat and tears into it! Too bad you've out-grown it! I always enjoy moving though. You feel like you get a nice fresh start! It' s a lot of work though! I think we all need to work on being more grateful, so you're definitely not alone in that! Thanks for the nice message you left me! Love you!
