Never Say Never

I'm going to blow off a little steam. Hope you don't mind.

As a university student, I don't remember the exact setting, I think a Sunday School class, where we were sharing scriptures, again, I'm not exactly sure, but, I think that meant something to us. Well, one sister explained that it was kind of funny, but, she said that she loved how well her Mom knew the scriptures and how she used them in various situations. She shared a scripture in the Book of Mormon that her mom would sometimes refer to, where Captain Moroni writes in an epistle to Ammoron, "it supposeth me that thou art a child of hell". We all laughed hysterically. "I'll never think that about any of my children", I thought.

Well, after today, I am reminded, I should never say never.

Ah, the confession felt nice. The forsaking of thinking such thoughts, well, PLEASE send MANY a prayer my way!!

God gives us children to perfect us in the patience category! I am 100% convinced of that! Just think how perfect you are going to be! :)

HA! The scriptures are great! Hang in there! I've had a couple of those days this week, too, and it makes me scared for the teenage years!
