Round two

Well I thought we were in the clear. Jason and Malia for the most part recovered pretty quickly. Jason still coughs every once in awhile. Malia missed 3 days of school. Now Derek has a drippy nose, and a hoarse voice. When I went to pick the girls up from school today, Makayla's teacher said she wasn't feeling well all day. She had slept on her hand last night, and said it was really stiff this morning. On Saturday she hurt her ankle during their second game. It was bothering her this morning too. Other than that she seemed fine. When we got home she said she was aching everywhere, and her stomach hurt. We took her temperature and she was 102. Luckily, Makayla will have two extra days between her sick day tomorrow, before she misses another school day.

She was so disappointed. She earned family fun night for perfect attendance the past 12 weeks, but because of her fever we stayed home. Although Malia missed one too many days because she was sick, Makayla's invite would allow her to go. So she was bummed as well.

While the girls have been counting down 'til Thanksgiving, Jared has been asking how many more days until Halloween... :)

(Makayla can play more now, this clip is from the end of October)

Jason's so glad he's feeling better so he can go quad riding at the dunes this weekend with the Young Men. It's supposed to be rainy in Coos Bay...

I'm creating a disaster area of my own! I've finally decided to paint our bedroom! I thought I'd finish painting while Jason was gone. I'm so silly to have so many projects to work on at the same time...Makayla also has been supervising remodeling in her dollhouse. We're sadly discovering that it is a LONG process.

Oh no! Not more sick kids! :( Everybody get better soon! We loved all the pictures ! It's always fun to see what those cute kids are up to!(even if it IS unloading the dishwasher)You are brave to paint while Jason is away - I would fear a little too much help! We love you all!

I'm so sorry you have all been sick! I hope you are all better by THanksgiving! That stinks that they won't get their family fun party but you just can't help being sick! Good luck on the painting- we're going to try to do some of that this weekend, too!

So cute. I tried to watch the smile box last week and I couldn't get it to play, but it worked today! You sure have a house full of entertainers!!!
