Makayla went back to school today!
This week there's another practice for Battle of the Books! She missed yesterday's practice. But yesterday she memorized the names of the authors of the 10 books she's read. Next week are the competitions!
We decided against having her try out for the developmental team when we found out that they occassionally play on Sundays. Makayla agreed that it would be more fun to be able to go to all the games on Saturdays.
Malia has been very sweet about turning in assignments for Makayla.
The kids are just growing so quickly!...
As for me I am SO ready to be done with this runny nose and sore throat! Oh well, could be worse, right?

Battle of the Books time - we will be praying for Makayla to do her best! She's such an amazing reader! Thank you Makayla for always setting such a good example of choosing the right for all your younger brother and sisters and cousins who look up to you so much! Wow! Battle of the Books... that sounds exciting! I'm sure Makayla will excel. And good choice on the soccer league... unfortunately, that is probably the first of many difficult choices she'll have to face like that. The world definitely views Sunday differently than we do, huh? Love you guys and can't wait to see you soon! How awesome is that!?
