Thanksgiving 2009 and a medal

Hope this is a better shot of Makayla's medal, Grandma!
Malia wanted to try a gingerbread village this year. I liked it a lot better. The supervision it required was surprisingly a lot easier than for our normal gingerbread house. Also the decorating went a lot faster, and everyone got to decorate how they wanted!
We had some oranges with lunch, and Derek liked the orange peel better! It was Jason that noticed that Derek had reached over and began eating some of the peel from Makayla's orange! I was working on our relish tray. Such a silly boy!
